In het hart van de woestijn (2025–present) is a Dutch comic series from Dark Dragon Books, blending the talents of writer-artist Jean-François Charles with co-writers Ben Kamphuis and Joseph Conrad. Drawing from Conrad's literary foundation, the series explores themes of isolation and human endurance within a stark desert landscape. As a recent release with a single issue so far, it marks a distinctive European collaboration that brings a classic narrative into the comic medium.
