Image Firsts: Nailbiter

In 2014, Image Comics launched Nailbiter, a horror series from writer Joshua Williamson and artist Mike Henderson that explores the dark secrets of a small Oregon town infamous for producing sixteen serial killers. The story follows an NSA agent investigating the disappearance of a fellow agent who was tracking the town's most notorious murderer, the "Nailbiter." With its tense, character-driven narrative and Henderson's gritty artwork, the series quickly became a standout in modern horror comics.
