Illustrerade klassiker

From 1978 onward, Sweden's Semic Press presented Illustrerade klassiker, a four-issue comic series adapting literary classics into sequential art. The line drew on Spanish talent, with writer José Antonio Vidal Sales and artists Jesús Blasco, Vicente Torregrosa Manrique, and Adolfo Buylla bringing works by Alexandre Dumas and others to life. It stands as a concise, visually driven gateway to timeless stories, reflecting European comics' tradition of literary adaptation.
