Icarus

In 2006, Swiss publisher Atrabile launched Icarus, a single-issue comic by artist Manuele Fior. The book explores themes of flight and aspiration through Fior’s expressive, atmospheric linework, marking an early European work from a creator who would later gain wider acclaim. Though brief in run, it remains a distinctive example of Atrabile’s commitment to thoughtful, artist-driven storytelling.
