I.G.N.A.T.Z. [IGNATZ Free Comic Book Day]

Marco Corona’s I.G.N.A.T.Z. is a surreal, wordless comic strip series from Fantagraphics, first released as a Free Comic Book Day special in 2008. Through expressive, minimalist art, it follows the bizarre adventures of its lumpy, nose-named protagonist in a silent, dreamlike world. Though only a single issue has been published, Corona’s distinctive visual storytelling and the character’s cult appeal have kept the series in conversation among alternative-comics fans.
