Humor og kanari

In the late 1980s, Norwegian publisher Bladkompaniet/Schibsted released Humor og kanari, an 8-issue comic anthology that mixed international humor strips with local work. The series featured contributions from Norwegian artist Bjørn Ousland alongside American Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes and Spanish cartoonist Francisco Ibáñez's Mort & Phil, offering readers a diverse, offbeat blend of slapstick and satire. As a short-lived but eclectic sampler, it captured a moment when European publishers curated global cartooning talent for a Scandinavian audience.
