Hugo

In the Franco-Belgian tradition of lighthearted adventure, Hugo is a short-lived series from the Misurind imprint, written and drawn entirely by the cartoonist Bédu. The story follows the cheerful misadventures of its young, resourceful protagonist across a handful of escapades. Though only two issues were published beginning in 1988, the series stands as a concise example of Bédu's clean, expressive ligne claire style and his knack for gentle, character-driven comedy.
