Howard il Papero (2013–present) is a Panini Comics series that revisits the cult-favorite Marvel character, blending the original absurdist vision of Steve Gerber with new stories by Italian writer Fiorenzo delle Rupi and artist Val Mayerik. Launching with a single issue, this series carries forward the satirical, offbeat adventures of the anthropomorphic duck from a world of talking animals, anchored by Mayerik’s distinctive, expressive artwork that echoes the character’s 1970s roots.
