Hoshin Engi

A manga adaptation of the classic Chinese novel Fengshen Yanyi, Ryu Fujisaki's Hoshin Engi ran for 23 issues from 2003 to 2007, published in Germany by Egmont Ehapa. The series follows the young sorcerer Taikobo on a mission to seal the immortal sages who have corrupted the ancient world of the Shang dynasty. Fujisaki's dynamic art and inventive reimagining of the epic tale brought a fresh, action-packed energy to the beloved source material.
