Honk!

From 1986 to 1987, Fantagraphics published Honk!, a five-issue anthology that captured the raw, experimental energy of the alternative comics scene. Featuring early work by Alan Moore, Carol Lay, Chester Brown, and Eddie Campbell, the series offered a mix of dark humor, surrealism, and personal storytelling. Though brief, Honk! is a snapshot of a pivotal moment when underground comix were evolving into the more literary and diverse world of independent comics.
