In 2011, Edition Alfons launched a single-issue comic tribute to H.P. Lovecraft, featuring the work of the celebrated Italian cartoonist Dino Battaglia. This slim volume collects Battaglia’s atmospheric, ink-heavy adaptations of Lovecraftian tales, originally published in the 1970s and 1980s, showcasing his distinctive, moody style that brings cosmic horror to vivid life. It stands as a concise homage to both the author and the artist, preserving Battaglia’s influential take on the Cthulhu Mythos for a new generation.
