From 1975 to 1976, Editora Bloch brought a distinctly Brazilian take on the armored Avenger with Homem de Ferro, a 15-issue series that translated and adapted classic Iron Man adventures for a new audience. While the character had appeared in other local publications, this standalone run gave readers a concentrated dose of Tony Stark’s high-tech heroics and corporate drama, often featuring the work of U.S. creators like Roy Thomas and Don Heck alongside local talent.
