Hit Comics Die Rächer

In the early 1970s, BSV - Williams brought the German-speaking market a short-lived but visually distinctive reprint series with Hit Comics Die Rächer, collecting classic Avengers adventures across five issues. Writer Roy Thomas anchored the stories, with artwork from Sal Buscema and—most notably—early European work by a young Barry Windsor-Smith, whose detailed style added a unique flair to these translated tales.
