His Name Is Savage

Gil Kane’s His Name Is Savage is a singular, hard-boiled espionage comic from 1968, published by Adventure House Press. Written and drawn by Kane with co-writer Robert Franklin, this lone issue introduced a ruthless, globe-trotting secret agent whose brutal adventures were a striking departure from the era’s more whimsical spy stories.
