Hickee

Hickee is an anthology series from Alternative Comics, launched in 2005 and ongoing. It gathers a rotating cast of cartoonists to contribute short, often autobiographical or surreal stories, with the series' tone and sensibility most strongly associated with the work of editor and frequent contributor James Kochalka. Its four issues to date offer a snapshot of the early-2000s indie-comics scene, showcasing a playful, experimental approach to the medium.
