Hero Tales

Hero Tales (2012–present, Editora JBC) is a five-issue Brazilian comic series that blends folklore and superhero action, following a group of young heroes who draw power from the legends of Brazil’s indigenous and cultural heritage. Spearheaded by writer and artist Fabio Yabu, the series stands out as a vibrant, creator-owned project that celebrates national identity through dynamic, manga-influenced artwork.
