About the series
Scott Lobdell and Adam Pollina co-created this three-issue Image Comics series from 1999, with Pollina also handling art alongside Paul Abrams and Robert Walker. A self-contained supernatural thriller, it follows a man who returns to his small hometown only to find it transformed into a literal gateway to hell. The series is a compact, atmospheric horror story that showcases Lobdell and Pollina's early collaboration outside the mainstream superhero sphere.
