Heiko

In the late 1980s, German publisher Braun released Heiko, a short-lived two-issue comic series written by Bernd-Uwe Braun. The series is visually defined by the collaborative art of Han Maagdenberg and Walter Kellermann, whose work gives the book its distinct European comic flavor. Though brief, Heiko stands as a modest but telling artifact of the German comics landscape at the close of the decade.
