Heartbreakers

From 1996, Dark Horse published this four-issue series by writer Anina Bennett and artist/co-writer Paul Guinan, with additional art by Lenin Delsol. A sci-fi caper following a crew of intergalactic bounty hunters, Heartbreakers blended sharp character dynamics with a sleek, adventurous tone. Though short-lived, the series stands out for its confident, creator-owned world-building and its place in the mid-90s indie comics landscape.
