Heart Throbs

A four-issue romance comic from Canadian publisher Bell Features, Heart Throbs (1949–1950) offered a brief but vivid snapshot of post-war love stories. The series is best remembered for its cover art, which alternated between painted photographs by Benard of Hollywood and illustrations by the celebrated pin-up artist Bill Ward.
