Haukepatruljen

In the early 1930s, Norwegian readers met Haukepatruljen ("The Hawk Patrol"), a short-lived but spirited comic series from Bladkompaniet that ran for just six issues. Written by Alf Fossum and illustrated by Jens R. Nilssen, it stands as an early example of homegrown Norwegian adventure comics, blending local storytelling with the pulp excitement of the era. Though brief, its existence marks a notable step in the country's comic history, capturing a moment when domestic creators began to carve out space in a market dominated by foreign imports.
