Hammerfall

Over four issues from 2010 to 2012, Swedish publisher Albumförlaget Jonas Anderson brought together writers Stefan Carlsson and Sylvain Runberg with artist Boris Talijančić for Hammerfall, a comics series that channels the thunderous energy of its namesake heavy metal band. Set in a dark fantasy world, this short but punchy run captures the band's mythic, sword-and-sorcery aesthetic through Talijančić's visceral artwork and the writers' lean, action-driven storytelling. It stands as a distinctive cross-media collaboration, offering fans a visual expansion of the band's lyrical universe while showcasing the creators' ability to translate musical intensity into sequential art.
