Halbwelt

From 2007 to 2009, the German fan-club imprint Hansrudi Wäscher Fanclub Bayern published Halbwelt, a 16-issue comic series that revived the pulp-adventure spirit of classic European serials. Anchored by the writing and art of Achim Danz, with contributions from Hajo F. Breuer and Peter Mennigen, the series explored a shadowy, atmospheric underworld of crime and intrigue. A labor of love for a dedicated fanbase, Halbwelt stands as a niche but heartfelt homage to the storytelling traditions of its namesake creator.
