In 1996, Finnish publisher Jalava released a single-issue comic, Gulliveriana, that adapts a portion of Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels. The project is most associated with Italian artist Milo Manara, who both wrote and illustrated the work, with additional writing by Juhani Tolvanen.
