About the series
Based on the classic fantasy novels by Kaoru Kurimoto, this 2009–2011 manga adaptation from Asuka was a brief but visually striking attempt to bring the epic saga of the leopard-headed warrior Guin to the page. Though it ran for only two issues, the series is notable for introducing the sprawling, influential world of the original prose series to a new generation of comic readers.
