About the series
Águia Negra, published by RGE from 1955 to 1968 across 111 issues, is a landmark Brazilian adventure comic starring a costumed hero whose exploits defined an era of the country's pulp-inspired sequential art. The series is most closely associated with the prolific artist Arnaldo Sinatti, whose dynamic, signed artwork gave the masked protagonist a distinctive visual identity throughout the vast majority of its run.
