A Swedish-language translation of Sergio Aragonés' classic comedy-adventure, Groo - Svärdbäraren was published by Semic in a single 1989 issue. Featuring the bumbling, cheese-loving barbarian in his trademark misadventures, this edition brought the slapstick humor and detailed, expressive art of Aragonés to a Scandinavian audience. The issue was scripted by Bengt Sahlberg alongside series regulars Mark Evanier and Aragonés himself, offering a unique entry point for Swedish readers into one of comics' longest-running independent series.
