Grimsborken

Bjørn Ousland, working from the classic fairy tales of Asbjørnsen og Moe, launched Grimsborken in 2002 for the small Norwegian publisher Bogfabrikken. A single-issue comic, it brings the eerie, folkloric atmosphere of traditional Norwegian stories to the page through Ousland’s own evocative art and adaptation.
