Greystorm

From 2009 to 2010, Sergio Bonelli Editore published the 12-issue series Greystorm, a steampunk-infused adventure set in an alternate 1920s where the British Empire's technological might is challenged by a mysterious figure wielding ancient Atlantean power. Written by Giovanni Gualdoni and illustrated by Paolo Bacilieri (among others), the series blends pulp-era heroics with a dark, atmospheric tone, exploring themes of imperialism and forgotten history. Its bold, retro-futuristic design and morally complex narrative made it a distinctive entry in Bonelli's catalog, offering a fresh take on the clash between science and myth.
