Gravediggers

In the mid-90s, Acclaim Comics resurrected the Valiant universe with a darker, supernatural edge, and Gravediggers was a key part of that push. Written and co-illustrated by Mark Moretti with art from Rodney Ramos, this four-issue miniseries followed a squad of soldiers tasked with battling the undead, blending military action with horror. Though brief, it stands as a distinctive artifact of the Acclaim era's attempt to reimagine Valiant's heroes through a grittier, more mature lens.
