Graf Duckula

From 1990 to 1991, Bastei Verlag published Graf Duckula, a 16-issue comic series that brought the vampiric duck’s gothic antics to German readers. The series was most frequently written by Peter Mennigen and illustrated by a rotating team including Miroslava Pollmer, Rüdiger Pareike, and Warren Kremer, capturing the character’s spooky-comic tone. As a short-lived but distinctive European take on the DuckTales spin-off, it stands out for its unique blend of horror parody and ducky charm.
