About the series
Over three issues in the mid-1990s, AC Publications revived the spirit of pre-Code horror and romance with Good Girl Comics, a series that leaned heavily on the classic "good girl" pin-up style. Writers Gardner Fox and Nick Poliwko, alongside artists Bob Powell, Jack Kamen, and Poliwko himself, crafted a nostalgic homage to the lurid, seductive covers and stories of the 1940s and 1950s. Though short-lived, the series stands as a loving tribute to an era when comic art walked the line between innocence and provocation.
