Godhead

In the early 1990s, Anubis Press published this three-issue miniseries, a dark and atmospheric work most closely associated with artist James O'Barr (with additional art by John Bergerud). A moody, visually-driven tale that explores themes of vengeance and cosmic power, Godhead represents a notable entry in the small-press, creator-owned wave of the era. Its brief run has earned it a cult status among collectors of offbeat, pre-Vertigo mature-reader comics.
