About the series
Globi, the cheerful blue-beaked trickster of Swiss children’s comics, starred in his own self-titled series from Globi Verlag from 1946 to 2006, spanning 62 issues. Created by artist Robert Lips and author Alfred Bruggisser, the character had already been a beloved figure in advertising and picture books since the 1930s.
