Published in Italy by Bonelli-Dargaud from 1984 to 1988, Gli Albi di Pilot was a 16-issue anthology series that imported and adapted classic Franco-Belgian adventure comics for an Italian audience. Featuring frequent contributions from writers Ferruccio Giromini, Jean Pierre Gourmelen, and Roberto Rocca, alongside artists like Julio Ribera, Jean-Claude Mézières, and Michel Blanc-Dumont, the series served as a vital bridge between two great European comic traditions.
