The Glasgow Looking Glass (1825–present) is a landmark in comics history, published by John Watson & Company. Across its brief five-issue run, writer-artist William Heath satirized Scottish society and politics with sharp, single-panel cartoons, pioneering the use of sequential art and speech balloons.
