About the series
In the mid-2000s, Tokyopop brought the manga-inspired Girls Bravo to Western readers, a 10-issue series blending sci-fi and romantic comedy. The story follows a high school boy who, after a bizarre encounter, finds himself transported to a fantastical world where women vastly outnumber men. Known for its lighthearted, ecchi humor and character-driven antics, the series was a playful entry in Tokyopop’s push to popularize translated manga in the US.
