Girl Picture Library
IPC · 1984–1987 · 30 issues
About the series
A charmingly old-fashioned romance comic published by IPC in the mid-1980s, Girl Picture Library ran for 30 issues, offering self-contained love stories with a distinctly European sensibility. The series is most warmly remembered for the prolific contributions of artist Trini Tinturé, whose elegant, expressive linework graced many of its covers and interiors. It stands as a late-era example of the British girls' picture-story tradition, providing a gentle, nostalgic escape for readers.
