Gipsy

From 1996 to 2002, Arboris published Gipsy, a six-issue comic series by writer Thierry Smolderen and artist Enrico Marini. Set in a gritty, near-future world, the story follows a mysterious, motorcycle-riding drifter whose journey intertwines with a powerful corporation and a young boy. Marini’s lush, cinematic art and Smolderen’s taut, character-driven storytelling give the series a distinct European sci-fi flavor, making it a memorable cult gem of late-90s bande dessinée.
