Gilgamesh (1996–present) is a French comic series from the publisher Talent, built around the legendary Mesopotamian king and his epic quest for immortality. With writing by Jean-Yves Mitton and Ludovic, and art by Franck Zimmermann, the series reimagines the ancient myth through a modern European comics lens. Though only a single issue has been released so far, it stands as a distinctive, literary-minded take on one of humanity's oldest stories.
