About the series
A four-issue Marvel series from the mid-1970s, Giant-Size Master of Kung Fu expanded the world of Shang-Chi with larger-than-life adventures. Written primarily by Doug Moench and featuring art by Paul Gulacy and Keith Pollard, the series pitted the martial arts master against his father Fu Manchu and a rogues' gallery including Plan Chu, Jimmy Woo, Karl von Horstbadden, and Fritz Von Voltzmann. It offered a bigger canvas for the espionage and kung fu action that defined the era, deepening the lore of one of Marvel's most distinctive heroes.
