About the series
From 2011 to 2012, IDW Publishing brought the classic Ghostbusters franchise back to comics with a spirited 16-issue series. Anchored by the writing of Erik Burnham and Tristan Jones, and the dynamic, cartoonish art of Dan Schoening and Jones, the book reunited Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, and Winston Zeddemore for new, humor-infused paranormal adventures. This run is fondly remembered for capturing the tone of the original films while expanding the team’s ghost-busting lore in a visually energetic way.
