From 1973 to 1986, the Dutch comic series Gezellig & leuk—named after its own title—ran for eight issues, blending whimsical, slice-of-life storytelling with a distinctly offbeat charm. Created and sustained throughout its run by the duo of Eddie de Jong and René Windig, the series is a cult favorite in the Netherlands for its warm, lightly surreal humor and its enduring influence on European alternative comics.
