Gene Autry Comics

Published in the mid-1950s by Thorpe & Porter, Gene Autry Comics ran for 36 issues, starring the beloved singing cowboy in his own title. The series was most frequently written by Elizabeth Beecher, with art primarily composed of photographs and contributions from Nicholas Firfires. It captured the wholesome, action-packed spirit of the Western film hero during the twilight of the classic movie serial era.
