About the series
This Brazilian series, published by EBAL from 1951 to 1960, ran for 120 issues and brought the singing cowboy Gene Autry to life on the newsstands. As one of the publisher's earliest and longest-running titles, it helped establish EBAL’s reputation for producing popular, family-friendly comics. The series faithfully adapted Autry’s Western adventures, introducing a generation of Brazilian readers to the iconic American hero.
