About the series
In this slyly satirical French fantasy series from Arboris, a humble frog named Garulfo is transformed into a human prince, only to discover that the fairy-tale life he dreamed of is far more complicated than he imagined. Written by Alain Ayroles and illustrated by Bruno Maïorana, the story unfolds over four issues (2004–present) as it playfully deconstructs classic tropes of magic, nobility, and destiny. A charming, thought-provoking fable that uses its amphibian hero to explore what it truly means to be human.
