Garra de Acero
Dilapsa · 1973–1975 · 43 issues
About the series
In the mid-1970s, Spanish publisher Dilapsa unleashed Garra de Acero ("Steel Claw"), a gritty 43-issue series that fused pulp adventure with a distinctly European sensibility. Most consistently illustrated by Carlos Giménez and Lincoln Fuentes, the comic followed its armored protagonist through a landscape of shadowy intrigue and muscular action. A key artifact of Spain's vibrant post-Franco comics scene, it remains a touchstone for fans of period European adventure strips.
