In the late 1950s, L. Miller & Son brought the classic frontier to life with Frontier Western, a 13-issue series that ran from 1956 to 1957. Anchored by the writing of a young Stan Lee and the gritty pencils of artists Fred Kida, Syd Shores, and Carl Burgos, the comic delivered straight-shooting tales of cowboys, outlaws, and the untamed American West.
