About the series
In the late 1950s, Frisky Fables offered a single-issue glimpse of lighthearted, animal-themed storytelling from the publisher of the same name. Most associated with artist Al Fago, this one-shot comic is a modest but charming artifact of the era, showcasing the playful, all-ages style that defined much of Fago's work in the period.
