Free Comic Book Day [Dan Dare / The Stranded]

For Free Comic Book Day 2008, Virgin Comics offered a double-feature sampler showcasing two of its original series. Garth Ennis and Gary Erskine contributed a short Dan Dare story, presenting a modern take on the classic British space hero. The issue also previewed The Stranded, a sci-fi series about a group of people who awaken on a mysterious alien world. This one-shot served as a concise introduction to Virgin’s creator-owned line of original comics.
